Google announces the price and retailers for its cloud based laptop Samsung Chromebook. Google has kept the prices as low as possible to make it possible to reach maximum number of users.Talking to its design and specification, it follow the same pattern of its predecessors to not have
any series number because it will be having its name only. the tablet have started selling in UK from Oct 22 with the price tag of Euro 229.
Samsung Chromebook will be available in the 30 high store of PC World and Currys, whereas it can be purchased online from Amazon UK,PC World and Google Play Store.
As we said that it is cloud based laptop, hence will require a good internet connection to be fully functional, although if you wish to choose a 3G version over Wi-Fi, then it will cost you Euro 300, according to Amazon UK.
Samsung Chromebook is lighter,thinner and smaller than its predecessor with 11.6 inch screen, 0.8 inche thick and weight is 1.1Kg. The new Chromebook will have Samsung Exynos 5 Dual chip as compared to previous Intel Celeron chip,new chip is based on ARM’s low-power dual-core A 15 cortex, and this new chip is claimed to boot up laptop in just seven second and battery life of 6.5 hours, along with these it will feature 16 GB of built in flash memory ,2 GB RAM, Bluetooth connectivity and dual band Wi-Fi.
As per Google, this Chromebook is being projected to fulfill the need of third computer for home purpose, while watching TV for example, Although Google has strong argues that one day it will definitely replace the traditional PC’s in business , especially in the case when any employee
frequentally uses Google product like Mail, Calendar and Docs for work.
